We have over 30 years deep connection to the Pacific Island community. Through this connection we honour and respect cultural traditions and can assist families with burial, home vigils, services over multiple days and repatriation to the Pacific.
We have supported members of the Tongan, Samoan, Fijian, Cook Island and Maori communities.
Pacific Island funerals are deeply significant cultural events, emphasising respect, love, and community in honouring the deceased.
They are a time for communal grieving, with family and friends coming together to celebrate the life of the departed and uphold cutltural traditions. The services we provide for your funeral preparations cater to either your daytime or nighttime vigils.
We also believe in giving back to the community. Pittwater Funerals are proud supporters of a number of Pacific Island community initiatives including Sione's Foundation www.sionesfoundation.com.au that was established to help Tongan and Pacific Communities with a key focus on children who are disadvantaged, marginalised or isolated.
